Job Description

The Manager – Accounting, Financial Reporting & Analysis is responsible for overseeing the general accounting and financial reporting & analysis functions for DataScan Holdings, LLC (DataScan). This includes ensuring that the financial statements are in compliance with GAAP and corporate policy, and are completed within the corporate close cycle. Duties also include oversight of the annual audit process, to ensure it is completed to satisfy all corporate, regulatory and client requirements. This position will also be responsible for overseeing the development of financial budgets and forecasts, as well as the development and maintenance of pricing models and other financial and operational models that measure and analyze the profitability and efficiency of the existing business as well as new business opportunities.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Closing the books for DataScan and all subsidiary companies by Business Day 3.
  • Oversight of monthly GAAP and EVA financial reporting packages distributed to corporate.
  • Oversight of the annual financial audits for DataScan and subsidiary companies, including the preparation of footnotes.
  • Oversight of the business controls applicable to the annual SSAE18 and to ensure timely completion and to meet external reporting deadlines.
  • Primary liaison with the finance and accounting department of parent company World Omni Financial Corp.
  • Design and development of financial and operational key performance indicators.
  • Development of models to define and measure the profitability of products and customer relationships, and to assist management in understanding the financial and operational impact of business decisions.
  • Managing department staff and associate development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. Masters degree and/or CPA a plus.
  • Minimum 4 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years professional accounting and/or financial analysis experience preferred.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational and follow-up skills and have the flexibility to deal with multiple changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Oracle NetSuite, SQL, Essbase, and/or other database skills and experience a plus.
